Barry Trotz will have a familiar face behind the bench with the Washington Capitals. Lane Lambert - an assistant with the Trotz and the Nashville Predators for the previous three seasons - has been hired as an assistant coach of the Capitals, the team announced on Friday. Prior to joining the Predators, Lambert spent four years as head coach of the AHLs Milwaukee Admirals. The Predators finished with 38-32-12 record in 2013-14, three points out of a playoff spot. The win sets up a tie-breaker game between the Rebels and the Prince Albert Raiders that will be played in Red Deer, Alta., on Tuesday. Red Deer and Prince Albert finished the regular season in a tie for eighth with 75 points each. The winner of that game will face the top-seeded Oil Kings in the first round of the WHLs Eastern Conference playoffs in Edmonton on Saturday.
